Diamond Dogs Chapter 10

"Xeh! Cover me!" Eraqus rushed in with Keyblade in hand to fight off the troops while Xehanort followed in a more tactical formation, Yen-Sid casting several spells as the two once and future masters aim to triumph over the transformed troopers. Eraqus started with a sweeping slash which the blue soldier countered easily with a spinning drop kick, who then proceeded to slam his face into the ground before attempting a body slam from which Eraqus rolled out of the way at the last second. "Yeesh, and I thought Wrestling could get brutal."

The Salmon Ranger was firing crescent-shaped beams with his sword with Xehanort chopping away each beam as he hopped each step he took, knocking Salmon off the bridge only for him to fill up an apparent super-gauge and unleash a stronger version of blade beam which actually connected to Xehanort and sent the poor guy flying for Yen Sid to save much to the savior's chagrin. "Well then, I suppose you need a potion break."

Eraqus had mounted his Keyblade onto the floor and started doing these acrobatic attacks with his pinky finger on the Keyblade, countering any or all punches and kicks that the blue one keeps dishing out and only jumping out of the way and pulling his keyblade out when the teal trooper rocketed its way towards him. Teal looked around for him as the boy hid himself from the clear-cut grunt before Eraqus tied its leg with the golden yellow chains he's known for, yanking it back as he lept forward in a dive kick which slammed the trooper into the ground for him to swing around out of his way. "There's more than one way to be a cut above the rest!"

The boy exploded into light upon a piercing jab from the one in black. I couldn't believe that I just saw my favorite Kingdom Hearts character had been instantly dealt with by a power ranger with lightningbolts on his torso...

Mainly because he's probably got some sorta plot armor to keep him around for the KHII series.

One look at the cardboard box confirmed this trend as the trooper in the black suit marched forward. Yen Sid charged forward against Blackbolt, slashing with his icy keyblade to maintain a level of distance before casting a Thunder spell at him, and it clearly doesn't phase him as if he's actually used to this. "Well, guess I take back everything I said about this low level 'Formula 523' stuff."

The man charged forth and left Yen Sid to fend off against a barrage of axe kicks and knifehand jabs whilst the young master threw his share of punches against this guy. Yen Sid backflipped upon Blackbolt engaging in an electrcally charged sweeping kick, the boy responds to this with a prompt slash of his keyblade which an axe kick negates and leaves Yen flat on his butt. "A slam dunk's only as good as the one doin' the dunkin'."

Blackbolt readied his final attack before he is slashed in the back, sending him careening into a wall. All courtesy of Eraqus because of course he'd be the hero this time around. And leave it to Xehanort to make sure his presence is felt. "And the prodigal dweeb returns." 

"Well, look who's rejoined the land of the living." Eraqus proceeded to brag about his antics with fighting two SOLDIERs head on, and even finished off a third for Yen Sid "So what's left, the guy with the plasma rifle or Cyborg here."

"Well, at least I have analyzed what sort of advantages their armor can provide for each troop. The finest example being the photon cannon built into that Soldier's arm has quite the load for her to lug around." An angered glare from beneath Teal's helmet managed to penetrate our collective will. Eraqus did the sensible thing when confronted with such craziness, "That's a woman?!"

She fired at me and I cried out in terror only for a gust of wind to surround me and my friends that was thick enough to dissipate the energy of the beam. I looked down to find that I was floating in mid-air, gaining the attention of Cornelius. "Well, I'll be."

I looked to the back of my left hand to find the same markings of that orb I found in the briefcase: the 'Alpha Rune'
